Sacai was founded in Tokyo in 1999 by designer Chitose Abe. Beginning with a small knitwear collection, Abe developed a distinctive design language that combines Japanese craftsmanship with an international fashion perspective. Since 2009, Sacai has presented its women’s collections during Paris Fashion Week.
