VOR was born from friendship, shaped by culture, and built on a clear vision: to create sneakers defined by timeless design, honest craftsmanship, and uncompromising quality. Founders Jörg Rohwer-Kahlmann and Andreas Klingseisen grew up in the ‘80s and ‘90s, heavily inspired by hip-hop, basketball, and skateboarding. Sneakers weren’t just footwear, they were identity. Their passion evolved into a pursuit: to create sneakers that combine design excellence with top tier craftsmanship. In 2010, they founded VOR – combining Jörgs design expertise from his time at Puma with Andi’s entrepreneurial mindset. What started as sketches in a Munich apartment gradually took shape through late-night discussions, countless prototypes, and an unshakable belief in doing things the right way. Their Journey led from Vietnam to Germany and finally Portugal, where today, VOR sneakers are crafted in close partnership with manufacturers who share the same values of precision, sustainability, and integrity
